Have you ever reflected on the nice packaging that surrounds the Fast Moving Consumer Goods? You consume a bottle of soft drink and throw away the plastic bottle. Our consumption is momentary. We take a few minutes or an hour to digest. How much time does the earth take to digest that plastic bottle? Several years. Today's packaging industry is one of the biggest culprit in environmental degradation.
How can we solve this problem?
We need to support environment friendly policies and rules.
There should be a 200 percent tax on bottled water.
All multi storey buildings should have provision for filtered water made available through separate identified taps.
I am looking for more ideas and suggestions.
